AirAsia's Danang - Kuala Lumpur Route Cancellation

AirAsia, the Asia’s largest low cost airlines and World’s Best Low-Cost Airline 2012 will stop the flight from Kuala Lumpur to Da Nang city in Vietnam starts from 10th June 2013. This happened due to its network route realignment schedule.

According to AirAsia spokesperson in The Star (20 March, 2013; Pg. 18), all passengers who are affected to this change will be informed by email, and SMS regards this matter. Besides, AirAsia personnel will also inform all related guests by phone subject to their availabilities too.

Affected guests will have options to move their flight (both way Danang or Kuala Lumpur) to earlier date without any extra charges. Another option is to opt a full refund or get a credit shell as per value that they paid which will valid for 6 months.

AirAsia also strongly advises all their passengers to always keep their email addresses and contact number with updated country’s prefix number in AirAsia member profile to ensure they can reach you for any assistance due to this route cancellation.

Besides, fellow traveller can go to Danang by taking AirAsia from Kuala Lumpur to Ho Chi Minh City and change to domestic, Vietnam Airlines or Air Mekong to Danang City.

  1. I feel upset regarding the flight cancelations from KL to Da Nang City in Vietnam. I suggest to at least have 1-2 flights a week so that we are able to visit our relatives at our hometown. Or else,it is inconvenient for us who are from there and it will take us extra time and money if we are suppose to book for other flights to Da Nang City because of the changing of flights instead of just 1 same flight taking us back to Da Nang City. Thank You for your consideration.
