Fun Korean Food Experience at Go Mo Nae, Ampang Point

Me and my housemate Chris was in Ampang Point to survey curtain blinds and curtain material at Spotlight outlet here. After spending hours here, we went to 1st floor and Chris drop by to bookstore while I am rushing looking for toilet. Then, that is the moment I saw this Go Mo Nae restaurant with a super tempting view. They are Malay, Korean and Chinese customers were having their lunch here which make myself very eager to try it out.

So then, I get Chris to go to this restaurant and have a quick glance to the menu. I don't want stew or the famous Korean Bimbimbap. But I want to eat what others are currently having there. Its a tray of food consisted of rice, main dish, kimchi, potato and soup on the side.
Looking at the menu here, there are many choices of foods can be ordered. They have Dak Bulgogi (Chicken BBQ with rice), Saengseon-gul (Fish with rice), Ojingeo Deopbap (Stir Fried Squid and Vegetables on top of Rice), Kimchi Bokkeumbap (Kimchi Fried Rice) and many more in the…

The Best: Mee Goreng Sotong, Bangkok Lane, Penang

One of the must do activity when come to the Penang is to hunt for their delicious local foods. Other than the famous Nasi Kandar to the authentic Assam Laksa, Mee Goreng Sotong or Squid Fried Noodle is another hot stuff for you guys to try.

We been to few places in Penang which served this Mee Goreng Sotong. Our first time was at Jalan Burmah and the second time was on 2014 at Esplanade, Penang. Why we go to these 2 places is because the one that we want to try (which is at Bangkok Lane) was closed. But this time, luck was on our side and the restaurant was opened to fulfill our Mee Goreng Sotong craving.

Since this place is famous, of course it crowded with local and tourist. Once we found our table, a worker came to us and straight away I'm asking for 2 servings of Mee Goreng Sotong. Minutes later, the noodles was served to us.

How was it? Awesome! It not as firing as the one at Esplanade (truly hot and spicy) and more flavour compared to the one at Jalan Burmah (the opposite …

Located at Jalan Kenari, this Dimsum restaurant is one of the must try eating out place in the area. The restaurant with name Nini Lai Restaurant is always busy especially on quiet Saturday and Sunday morning with some table at open parking area.

What I love about this place is the freshness of the Dimsum, the aroma and the taste of the Dimsum itself. Once you arrived here, you just need to choose your table and the worker will get your drink order. Minutes later, another worker will come carrying a huge Dimsum basket with various kind of Dimsums for you to choose. You will get tricky with lot of colours and sizes of the Dimsum. But trust me, all are actually delicious.

Other than Dimsum, the restaurant also serve Chee Cheung Fun and other meals too. Since recently, I discovered that the Dimsum restaurant open till night for other kind of foods, noodle and stuff but it doe…
