I Love my DubuYo, Nu Sentral

Wow, this is 3rd posting in a row about outlets in Nu Sentral, Kuala Lumpur. At first, I was thinking that Nu Sentral is going to be a boring new mall in town. But its proving my guessing was wrong. There are so much food-fun here especially at the restaurant on the 4th floor.

I was here on last fasting month with my housemate for breakfasting. Was late and all restaurants was full and we have no reservation. I had decided to go to this Korean restaurant called Dubuyo at the 4th floor to enjoy their stew meal. Well, this is my 2nd time here and there must be something to make me come again to this restaurant.

So, we only be seated around 8.00pm and the menu come straight away to us. We ordered set meal for 2 with price RM56.85 which consisted of Sondubu Jigae, Beef Honey Garlic Bulgogi, 2 Dubu Dubu Rice, 2 hot barley drinks, 2 dessert and free flows of bachans (the side dishes). Actually you can opt the beef dishes to chicken dish too. Besides that, you also order other foods from their ala carte menu such as Korean Spicy Wings, Honey Mustard Wings or selections of stew.

The Beef Soondubu Jigae is a Korean Kimchi Soft tofu soup with a fiery broth that infuses custardy tofu with deep flavours and spices. Traditionally it was served at the table boiling hot in its cooking vessel with an egg cracked in the middle. This healthy dish is full of vegetable and protein warms the belly and satiates the palate. My Beef Soondubu, they add a very thin beef stripes into the soup which nicely blended with the tofu and kimchi taste.

The Beef Honey Garlic Bulgogi was also very delicious. The basic idea for bulgogi is the beef need to be marinated with soy sauce, water, sugar, salt, honey, garlic and pepper before cooking with charcoal or on skillet. It is very important to have balance between the honey sweetness and the saltiness for making a great bulgogi. Thumbs up for the Beef Honey Bulgogi in DubuYo because it was truly delicious.

Another plus point, it is a halal outlet which is suitable for our Muslim friends. I will definitely will come again to DubuYo Nu Sentral for this 2 main dish as well as trying out other foods on their menu too.
