The Penang Road Famous Teochew Chendul at Sunway Pyramid
Penang's famous food, Assam Laksa is always on the top favorite list of my housemate, Chris. Whenever we go back to the island, having this meal will be one of the must do activity for us. But this time, we don't have to travel far to Penang because we can enjoy after 10 minutes driving from our home in Puchong, Selangor.
If previously you read about the delicious Cendol and Assam Laksa at Penang Road Teochew Chendul, now you can also have it at Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall at Bandar Sunway. We were initially want to find The Loaf Bakery for our afternoon tea, but scrapped the idea after seeing this restaurant.
The restaurant still with the same green colour as their trademark and really crowded with hungry customers. We order a serving of Assam Laksa (RM7.90) and Penang White Curry noodle (RM7.90) besides a bowl of Chendul (4.50).
Since Chris is a local Penang guy and Assam Laksa is one of his regular noodle since small, he commented that the taste of the food here is really good and the same as the one in Penang Road. Maybe the price is a bit higher, probably because of the expensive rental here, we are a happy customer and will definitely come again to enjoy a very nice taste of Penang Assam Laksa.
